Way down South in Texas, just a half-hour from Kingsville and two hours from Mexico, is a small, friendly town called Falfurrias. And if you happen to visit or travel through Falfurrias, Countryside RV Park of South Texas is a wonderful … More place to stay. We added Countryside RV Park to our travels route and we're sure glad we did!
Upon arrival, we stopped at the office to check in and receive our site number along with a nice flier containing a park map, rules and area information. We proceeded to site 3, a 30/50 amp full hookup pull thru right near the office and the two hosts. The site was gravel with area grass and a cement patio. It was very spacious and easily accommodated our two vehicle with room to spare.
The park has some nice amenities including an adjoined 9-hole golf course, a very large club house (containing a kitchen, a dining area, a pool table, and a TV area,) a fitness facility, a community fire pit area, a storage area, a dog walk area, a horseshoes area, a butterfly garden, a cactus garden, a bathroom/shower facility, a laundry room with 6 each efficient washers and dryers - all ran about 35 minute cycles for $2 each, and a year-round indoor pool/spa.
During our visit, the park was quiet and the guests were friendly. More guests frequent the park for the winter months and return year after year, which we just missed by a few weeks. The hosts were very pleasant, helpful, suggested things to do all around the area, and were great to meet and stay with! -

Very friendly and affordable, spots are average size and are mostly thru. The place is clean and well maintained. Wifi is a small fee, no trails for pets, in town or near the park. It's close to a busy road, so there is some noise, … More not a deal breaker, though. I would definitely return, and i don't even golf. They offer a small gym and a pool/jacuzzi. There is a veterinarian right across the street, gave my dog great care. -

When in Falfurrious, Texas,This is best place for RV'ers for an extended stay or just over night. We spend our winters here. The owners, Carol and Mike are friendly and make sure we have everything we need to have the best experience … More possible. There are many people here that are from all over the United States and Canada. Very friendly people as well. -

Very nice RV park. Extremely clean. Golf course, bingo, heated swimming pool and hot tub. Onsite laundry and clubhouse. If you're tired of the fast pace life this is the place to come and get recharged. Extra large lots extremely affordable … More compared to most RV parks. -

This is a great park. The owners and hosts are so friendly and helpful. If you play golf, there's a 9 hole course next door with access from the RV park. -

Check-in was easy. The office person drove a golf cart to show us our spot, and she told us about the activities going on this evening. The ground are clean! -

Spaces all have a patio. No picnic tables. Shower rooms are private. Laundry was clean, $2 wash, $2 dry (had to dry ×2!). Mice little indoor pool, hot tub, clubhouse. Spaces are pretty close together. Located by a golf course. $360 a month … More plus electric. -

We were looking for a park to stay for the winter. Checked this Park out decided to stay for a month ended up staying for 4 months. We loved the park layout, the proximity to many things to do, the golf course, and most of all the people … More at the Park. We loved our time there and if you are looking for a laid back place to overnight or spend a few months this is it. The owners and camp hosts are also great! -

Ok for a stop over for 1 night. 1 mile from restaurants. Due to covid the pool and hot tub are closed to short term residents. Walked on golf course in afternoon when there were no golfers out. We saw a young puma hunting about 100 yards … More away. -
